The iconic Land Cruiser was introduced to the world some 70 years ago. Originally known as the Toyota BJ and intended for military use, this four-wheel drive juggernaut quickly went on to earn an enviable reputation for its go-anywhere capability and rugged construction. The Land Cruiser name was coined in 1954 as the model expanded into the civilian market.

1. The Land Cruiser Range explained
The Land Cruiser range consists of three distinct family groups – the 70-series, the Land Cruiser Prado and Land Cruiser 300. Whilst the packaging, usage and target market of each are slightly different, they all share the ‘unbreakable’ DNA developed by their forefathers.
